What this notice covers
Cookie rules also cover technologies such as local storage, session storage and app caches. This notice explains the information TickLane stores on your device and the limited occasions when it reads that information.
Most of this storage is strictly necessary to provide a feature you request, protect the service or remember a selection you make. Preference and statistical storage can be objected to using the controls described below.
Storage TickLane uses
Supabase first-party session storage keeps you signed in and protects account requests. Short-lived Google and Outlook Calendar state cookies, lasting up to 10 minutes, prevent connection requests being substituted. These are necessary for the requested secure service.
TickLane stores an unprotected local workspace, quick capture text and unsaved task edits on your device so work is not lost. Protected account data is also stored in TickLane's database. Local data remains until you remove it, clear site data or delete the relevant draft.
Your chosen view, board layout, plan mode, voice confirmation setting, reminders and visual options are remembered on this device. If you enable background reminders, the browser also keeps a push subscription that can wake the TickLane service worker. The service worker caches app assets for PWA and offline use; API responses and private task data are not placed in that cache.
Session storage can remember scroll position and whether the current browser session is in the small performance sample. The sample records route-level speed and stability measurements, never task titles, notes or email content.
The separately protected Call Assist laboratory uses a first-party security cookie for up to 12 hours and local prototype storage only when an authorised tester opens that laboratory. It is not part of the customer planner.

TickLane samples page speed and stability to find reliability problems. Measurements contain the route and metric, not task content. Turning this off does not affect the planner.Your controls
You can change planner preferences inside TickLane, turn background reminders off from Daily rhythm, turn performance measurements off above, sign out to end the current account session, and use your browser's site-data controls to remove TickLane cookies and local storage.
Removing site data may sign you out and permanently erase unprotected local tasks or unsaved drafts. Protect or export important work first. Blocking all storage can prevent sign-in, offline support and other requested features from working.
Future changes
If TickLane adds a non-essential analytics, marketing or advertising technology, it will be documented here and will not be enabled until the required choice has been provided. We will update the date at the top of this notice when the storage inventory changes.
